"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalms 139:14

For Heather Schultz, these words are not only the spiritual truth she lives by, but also the foundation of her ministry and daily walk with Christ.

At the age of 7, Heather began a long battle of depression and defective self-esteem. After a life-changing experience at the age of 23, she set in motion a new journey of healing and restoration that has transformed her outlook on beauty.

Though Heather has been known in her community as a singer/songwriter and worship leader for more than 10 years, she has developed a passion for ministering to women who struggle with self-esteem through the arts of writing and speaking. Using her ability to teach, she weaves together personal stories of her own experiences with Biblical principles to reveal the inner beauty that lies within every woman. Audiences are prompted to look past outer appearances and celebrate the inner beauty that God has truly created inside.

Heather is launching her message of encouragement across the country to speak at events that influence women and their walk with Christ. In addition, she is releasing her first work titled A Happier You: 25 Inspirational Ways to Boost Your Self-Esteem in Spring/Summer 2011.

Heather has been awarded several honors for her original songs such as receiving Second Place Contemporary Christian Song for the Gospel Music Association Seminar in the Rockies in 2001 and "Spotlight Artist" for the National Association of Christian Artists and Songwriters (NACAS) held in Nashville annually.

Heather is currently a Premier Presenter for ProvenWay Ministries in Dallas, Texas, and she also serves as a vocalist for Shana Strange Ministries. Heather resides in Tyler, Texas, with her husband Brandon and daughter Skylar.
